Who we are

St Leonards Brighton Beach is a church belonging to the Uniting Church in Australia. Our website aims to provide information on upcoming services and events within the church to existing, new & prospective members of our community.

Contact Form

When visitors enter personal information such as name, phone number and email into our contact form, this information is sent as an email directly to the church’s email address, only accessible by a member of the St Leonards Uniting Church Council for the purpose of answering a visitors queries. This information is not stored on the site’s server.

The visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string are also used to help spam detection.

Subscribing to Our Newsletter

When a user subscribes to our newsletter, they are required to enter their email address and are immediately sent an email to confirm their address by clicking the “confirm” link in that email. Once a user has successfully subscribed, their email address will remain on our mailing list until they unsubscribe, which can be done by clicking on the the Unsubscribe link on any received email from St Leonard’s. Their address will be deleted from our mailing list and will not be retained in any way.

Users’ email addresses are never shared with third parties, they are used only to send users email notifications when our latest newsletter has been published online.
